Welcome to our home page.

In New Zealand the management of the region is vested in an elected Executive Committee. Most of the Regions work is in the Technical field as and when required. Technical sub-committees are also formed to carry out work on particular projects in this area.

Other sub-committees formed within the Guild include the Education and Training sub-committee and a sub-committee to administer the recommending and awarding of Guild trophies within the New Zealand aviation industry.

Currently the Executive Committee meets once a month in Auckland, with a working sub-group of the committee to be shortly established in Christchurch. Members not on the committee are welcome, and indeed encouraged to attend these meetings and to volunteer for any sub-committee debating those issues that may be of interest to you.

The New Zealand Region enjoys a constructive and respected relationship with a number of Government and private organisations as well as with individuals.

Other activities New Zealand Guild members also enjoy include:

  • Social events.
  • Formal and informal dinners with guest speakers.
  • Activities to coincide with the Master's Visit.
  • The establishment of working groups to investigate and comment on topical issues affecting flight safety within New Zealand.

New members are always welcome.
