Direct Debit Mandate

     

    FINANCIAL YEAR 2008 - 2009

    By Court decision, ratified at the Annual General Meeting held on 5 March 2008, the rates for the Livery Fine, Quarterage and Fees for the financial year, beginning 1 October 2008, are as follows:-

      Charge for airmail despatch of Guild News (available only to members who pay Quarterage or Fees by Direct Debit)  £20

    Special Rates

    Eligible members may, should they so wish, apply for the following rates, subject to all conditions being met by the 31 August of any year.  Applications for these rates must be received before 1 October 2008:-

    Aged 65 years or over with 20 years’ continuous membership Quarterage or Fee frozen at prevailing rate.
    Aged 70 years or over with 30 years’ continuous membership Quarterage or Fee frozen at half prevailing rate.
    40 years’ continuous membership Quarterage or Fee waived.

    Notes

    1)      The preferred method of payment is by Direct Debit. 

    2)      Quarterage or Fees of members who pay by Direct Debit will be collected in two equal installments in the last week of November 2008 and April 2009. 

    3)      For members not paying by Direct Debit (except members of the Australian and New Zealand Regions) the full annual Quarterage or Fee is due for payment on 1 October 2008 by UK Bank Cheque or GB Pounds Bank Draft, payable to GAPAN, or Mastercard/Visa or Maestro/Visa Delta (not American Express/Diners). 

    4)      Capitation - Australian and New Zealand Regions 10% U/F fee per member (not Associates). 

    5)      GYM members  - £36.00 per member will be transferred to the GYM account. 

    6)      Members eligible to claim a UK tax allowance for professional subscriptions should retain this information for subsequent use.
