The Guild publishes its official opinion or policy on various current aviation issues in order to inform public debate on what may be contentious matters. These policies, shown on the subpage 'Position Papers', are formulated by the members of one (or both) of the Guild's 'professional' committees and are therefore the considered, collective opinion of experts in their field. The opinions expressed here are endorsed by the Court of the Guild - the governing body - before publication and are therefore the Guild's official stance or guidance on a given topic.
Study Papers - helpful guidance notes on a variety of aviation topics
Position Papers - official Guild opinion on the matters concerned
Public Speeches - Speeches made at Guild events of interest to the Aviation Community
The Guild's "professional" committees debate a wide range of aviation related matters and by their nature, not all topics will lead to a Study or a Position Paper. Where debate is on-going, Discussion Papers may be published to reflect on-going discussion or research. Discussion Papers are not endorsed by the Court of the Guild.
Discussion Papers - illustrate areas under discussion in the Guild's professional committees. Discussion Paper contents remain the subject of debate and therefore are not necessarily reflections of Guild current or future policy.
