Application forms (other than from Regional offices) should be returned (preferably) by post to the Guild office in London. The address is given on the first page of the application form.
Applications in UK are are required to be supported by two members of the Guild. If, however, you do not know any Guild members, please contact the office on 020 7404 4032 or by email at email@example.com for advice.
When applying for membership, you might wish to send a completed direct debit mandate to the office with your application form.
Applications for membership are considered at Court meetings, 6 per annum. The Guild membership year runs 1st October to 30th September. Quarterage and Fees For The Year Commencing 1 October 2012 can be found here. Potential members joining at the November and January Courts are expected to pay the full fee for the year, those joining at the March or May Courts are expected to pay half the annual fee, those joining at the July or September Court will be requested to commence fee payment with effect from the 1 October.
Civilian Flying Instructors in the UK are eligible to pay a reduced rate of fee and before submitting their application form, they should contact the Guild office on 020 7404 4032 or email firstname.lastname@example.org in order to obtain advice on the procedure.
